Who we are
Run Past Me is a running-partner app. This policy explains how the marketing site and waitlist work. The iOS app has a separate account system that uses Sign in with Apple.
What we collect when you join the waitlist
When you join with Strava we save a few public profile details:
- Your Strava athlete id
- First and last name
- City, state, and country if they are on your profile
- Profile photo
- Email address, if Strava shares one
We disconnect from Strava as soon as you are on the list. We do not keep a lasting Strava login from this signup, and we do not pull your run history from the waitlist.
Why we collect it
We use this information to know who is interested in Run Past Me, to invite you when the app is ready, and to understand where waitlist runners are located.
What we do not do
- We do not sell waitlist data.
- We do not create an app account from waitlist signup.
- We do not leave Strava connected from this site.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist records until you ask us to delete them, or until we no longer need them to run the launch invite list.
Deletion requests
Email privacy@runpastme.com with the name or email you used on Strava. We will remove your waitlist row.
The iOS app
If you later install Run Past Me, you sign in with Apple. Connecting Strava inside the app is optional and uses a separate authorization so we can sync running stats and routes. That connection is not created by this waitlist.
